Part I:  The concept of archetypes will be re-examined and the archetypal image of the wounded healer will be explored.  Also, individuation and origins of the healing process will be described.

Part II: Shamanism and the self-actualizing nature of the Shaman’s journey will be the focus,
 as well as the parallels between shamanism and Jung’s psychology.
