About the Society

The Society for the Friends of Jung in Waco began in the late 1980’s as a result of an exceptional amount of work by the founders of the organization, and its first president Pat Cook. Meetings at her home discussing a variety of Jungian and related topics, soon grew into a continuing education course at Baylor University. In The society was created to offer Waco and surrounding areas a wide range of programs in the humanities and the arts examining the collective expressions of our world culture in light of Dr. Carl Gustav Jung’s ideas and thought. Our aim is to offer, to all, support in the quest to find wholeness and depth in everyday living. The society sponsors lectures, seminars, films, book studies, workshops, art exhibits, performances, and other activities in order to further this quest. Comment from and involvement with the community is much desired.

We depend upon the financial support of your membership to continue our work.
